GROZNY, October 9. /TASS/. The police killed a group of militants in a shoot-out in the North Caucasus Chechnya, the local police told TASS on Sunday.
"As the police were about to inspect two cars in Chechnya’s Gudermes district a shoot-out began," the police said. "Drivers opened fire, and the police damaged the cars, where, preliminary reports say, were between 5 and 7 people."
Four police got injures and were taken to hospital.
The killed militants are being identified now.
