Young scientists receive Russian government awards

Among the winners are representatives of the federal higher education institutions, R&D organizations of the Russian Academy of Scientists, including three Doctors and 12 PhD

MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. The Russian government has made a list of young scientists, who will receive awards in 2016. An order by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is published on the government’s official website on Saturday.

"The award winners in 2016 are 18 applicants for works in secure and effective energy, nano technologies, livestock, medicine, information technologies and nuclear fusion," the document reads.

Among the winners are representatives of the federal higher education institutions, R&D organizations of the Russian Academy of Scientists, including three Doctors and 12 PhD - they come from five regions - Moscow, Volgograd, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Tambov regions.
