Rescue workers nab snake in downtown Moscow office building

MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. Officers from Russia’s Emergencies Ministry caught a snake spotted by a female employee in an office building on Pokrovka Street, in downtown Moscow, law enforcement sources told TASS.

"A female office worker called the rescue team reporting about a red snake with yellow stripes. The emergencies ministry’s officers, who arrived on the scene caught the snake and handed it over to the staff of the Moscow Department of Natural Resources and Environment Management," the source said.

It has yet to be established how the snake got into the office building and where it precisely came from.
