MOSCOW, September 7. /TASS/. The 29th Moscow International Book fair opens at the VDNKh exhibition center on Wednesday.
The event will gather more than 500 foreign publishing houses from 37 countries, including China, Iran, Cuba, Armenia and others.
Greece will be the fair’s guest of honor. The country’s delegation will include Alki Zei, a 91-year old novelist and children's writer, and young Greek authors.
Over 600 events, including presentations, master classes and concerts are on the fair’s program.
The Book of the Year national awards ceremony will be the highlight of the event.
