YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, August 3. /TASS/. Personnel have been evacuated from the building of the government and administration of the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in Russia’s Far East in response to a bomb threat call, a law enforcement source told TASS on Wednesday.
"There has been a phone call with a warning that a bomb was planted in the old government building, housing part of the regional ministries. Later, there was as second bomb threat call about an explosive planted in the City Hall. The employees were evacuated, the surrounding area was cordoned off", the source said.
According to him, the information about the planted bombs is being checked.
