MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/. An An-2 plane with three people onboard has went missing in Russia’s Siberian Novosibirsk region, a source in the local emergencies agencies told TASS on Sunday.
"The An-2 took off from Berdsk and was bound for Krasnoyars. Contact with the plane has been lost," the source said, adding that a search operation has been launched.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the regional department of the Russian emergencies ministry told TASS the plane had disappeared outside the Novosibirsk region. "According to our information, contact with the plane was lost when it had already left the Novosibirsk region," the spokesman said.
