KALUGA, July 26 /TASS/. Seventy liters of hydrogen chloride leaked from a chemical plant in Russia’s Tula region, a regional branch of the Russian Interior Ministry told TASS.
"A total of 70 liters of hydrogen chloride leaked at the [Novomoskovsky Khlor] plant. The cloud immediately settled in the plant’s territory. There are no casualties or any threats to environment," the source said.
Chemists are working at the scene to establish the maximum chloride concentration in the atmosphere.
