Six people hurt in blast at munitions plant in Azerbaijan — ministry

The blast occurred at the Araz defense plant

BAKU, July 26. /TASS/. Six people were hurt in an explosion that rocked a defense plant in the Azerbaijani city of Shirvan, a spokesman for the Azerbaijani health ministry told TASS on Tuesday.

"Six people received burns. They were taken to hospital," the spokesman said, adding that no one was killed.

The blast occurred at the Araz munitions plant at 14:35 Moscow time. An investigation is underway.
