BURGAS (Bulgaria), July 24 /TASS/. Over 100 Russian tourists have gathered at Burgas airport waiting for a Bulgaria Air flight to St. Petersburg, which has been postponed several times over the past 24 hours.
Initially, the first group of tourists was supposed to leave Varna at 02:40 Moscow time on July 23. Then, the flight was postponed to Burgas airport to 17:50. Later, the flight was put off two more times - 00:30 and 03:00 on July 24.
The delayed flight FB613 is bound for St. Petersburg. Russians who spent their vacation at other Bulgarian resorts are waiting for the flight together with the tourists from Varna who said that several other flights to Russia had been delayed before.
The air company representatives have not given any explanations to tourists at the airport. It is impossible to get in touch with them by phone. The reason for delay and the exact departure time are unknown. After numerous appeals, the airport staff handed out food and water to the Russians at around 01:00 Moscow time.
