Rescuers have discovered the bodies of 10 killed crew members

IRKUTSK, July 4. /TASS/. The search operation at the site of the crash of the Il-76 aircraft of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry is over, Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said.

"Emergencies Ministry rescuers have completed search work at the site of the air crash. But the group remains at the site and provides for the work of investigators of Russia’s Investigative Committee, representatives of the Interstate Aviation Committee, transport prosecutor’s office, police, who are conducting investigative activities," Puchkov said.

Bodies of all crew members discovered

Rescuers have discovered the bodies of 10 killed crew members of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Il-76 aircraft that crashed in the Irkutsk Region, the ministry’s Siberian Regional Center’s chief Sergey Didenko said Monday.

"The bodies of another two crew members of the Il-76 have been discovered at the site of the crash of the plane during a search operation that has been underway all night," Didenko said. "Thus, the bodies of all killed crew members have been found.".
