NALCHIK, June 18. /TASS/. The anti-terror security alert regime was announced in the North Caucasus’ Kabardino-Balkaria, a source at the local security agencies told TASS on Saturday.
"A special operation continues in Nalchik (republic’s capital city)," the source said.
The republic’s security headquarters told TASS the purpose of the operation in to locate and detain hiding militants.
Certain measures and temporary restrictions will remain in the city until the security alert regime is lifted.
