Over 100 people detained after mass brawl at Khovanskoye Cemetery

All detainees, most of whom are citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a loose association of former Soviet republics, are being brought to different police stations

MOSCOW, May 14. /TASS/. Moscow’s special purpose police detachment (OMON) officers have detained over 100 people following a mass brawl at the Khovanskoye Cemetery in the Russian capital that claimed several lives, a law enforcement source told TASS Saturday.

"As of now, more than 100 people have been detained and detentions continue," he said.

All detainees, most of whom are citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a loose association of former Soviet republics, are being brought to different police stations.
