ST. PETERSBURG, May 14. /TASS/. Rescuers have raised from water a helicopter with the bodies of the pilot and passenger in northern Russia’s Leningrad Region, the regional department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS Saturday.
"The helicopter with the bodies has been retrieved from water," the department said.
A helicopter crashed into a lake in Russia’s Leningrad Region on Saturday morning, a source in the local law enforcement agencies said.
"According to preliminary data, at around 9.00 a.m. the helicopter got caught in wires, it crashed falling into a lake," the source said, adding that some reports said it exploded.
