Police found a self-made explosive device with a range of 400 meters during a search of his house

NAZRAN, May 14. /TASS/. Police in Russia’s North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia have detained a recruiter of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group outlawed in Russia during a special operation, a source in the local law enforcement bodies said on Saturday.

"In the city of Karabulak, police carried out an operation yesterday and detained an IS recruiter, a 23-year-old citizen of the republic," the source said.

Tyamran Aushev had recruited young people for two years. Police found a self-made explosive device with a range of 400 meters during a search of his house. A criminal case has been opened into illegal possession of weapons.
