Resident of Moscow Region confesses to killing five bikers — Investigative Committee

During questioning, he made a confession and told about the circumstances of the incident

MOSCOW, May 8. /TASS/. A resident of Moscow Region’s Yegorievsky district suspected of killing five bikers has made a confession, the Russian Investigative Committee’s main department in the Moscow Region said on Sunday.

"Over the course of properly held investigative actions and search operation, the suspect was detained near the house he lived in. As of now, he has already been questioned by investigators as a suspect. During questioning, he made a confession and told about the circumstances of the incident," the main department said.

At 6am on Sunday, a group of bikers and a local resident, aged 27, started arguing near the abandoned building of a brewery in the village of Chelnokhovo in Yegorievsky district. The resident pulled out a carbine and made several shots at the bikers. The bikers died on the spot from sustained injuries. Two women that accompanied the bikers witnessed the incident.

Bikers have gathered today in Moscow Region’s Yegorievsky district to celebrate the Victory Day.
