MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Last Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev is undergoing a planned checkup in hospital, the Gorbachev Foundation’s press office told TASS on Friday.
The press office thus commented on news reported by Life web portal that Gorbachev "was taken to a Moscow clinic in a grave condition."
"Nothing extraordinary has happened. Mikhail Sergeyevich [Gorbachev] frequently visits the hospital for a planned checkup and medical procedures," the press office told TASS.
