MAKHACHKALA, March 29. /TASS/. One police officer was killed and two more were wounded as police cars were blown up near Makhachkala, the capital city of Russia’s North Caucasian republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republic’s interior ministry told TASS on Tuesday.
"According to verified information, two cars with Russian interior ministry officers blew up in the Caucasus highway. The incident occurred at 20:10 local time. One officer was killed, two others were wounded. An investigation is underway," he said.
