VATICAN CITY, February 13. /TASS/. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will present a replica of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God as a gift to Pope Francis at their first-ever meeting in Cuba, ANSA said on Friday.

One of the icon’s replicas was presented to Pope John Paul II who wanted to return it to the Russian Orthodox Church during his possible visit to Russia. In the long run, it was taken by Cardinal Walter Kasper who was President Emeritus of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
