VATICAN CITY, February 12. /TASS/. Pope Francis is expected to present a relic of Saint Cyril, the Apostle to the Slavs, and a standing cup as a gift to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at their first-ever meeting in Havana, ANSA said on Friday.

Saint Cyril, a brilliant linguist, devised an alphabet, thus becoming the founder of the Slavonic literature, died in Rome and is buried in Basilica San Clemente dedicated to Pope Clement I who died as a martyr in Chersonesus at the turn of the 2nd century.
