HAVANA, February 12. /TASS/. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia is pinning high hopes on the meeting with Pope Francis.

"I am pinning high hopes on this meeting," the patriarch said during his meeting with Raul Castro, the President of the Council of State of Cuba, at the Palace of the Revolution in Havana.

The first ever meeting between the heads of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church is due to be held at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana at 14:15 local time (22:15 Moscow Time).
