MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. The flu epidemic death toll in Russia has reached 126, a Health Ministry official said on Friday.
Oleg Sagalai, the head of the ministry’s public health and communications department, said that "126 flu deaths had been confirmed."
"The epidemic threshold exceeds 48% this week but this is not extraordinary," he said.
The official said the flu epidemic would enter its declining phase in late February, stressing that swine flu virus was not very dangerous.
