MOSCOW, January 15. /TASS/. Russia's health minister has ordered inspection of a St. Petersburg clinic where a sheet of medical fabric was reported left inside a woman’s body after surgery, a ministry official said on Friday.
"Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova has asked the federal health watchdog to check the clinic of Pavlov Medical University in St. Petersburg where, according to media reports, a sheet was left in a woman’s stomach after a C-section," the official said.
The incident is said to have taken place in December.
