Rescuers discover no dead bodies in apartments of Volgograd house after gas explosion

According to a source in the operational headquarters at the emergency situation’s site, the report on five killed persons earlier voiced by some media is untrue

VOLGOGRAD, December 21. /TASS/. Rescuers have discovered no dead bodies in apartments of the house in the southern Russian city of Volgograd where gas exploded earlier, a source in the operational headquarters at the emergency situation’s site told TASS.

"No dead bodies were discovered during search and rescue works," the source said.

He said the report on five killed persons earlier voiced by some media is untrue.

"The body of one killed person was discovered during search and rescue works, but the works on the site continue, they will be conducted until all the debris is cleared," the source said.
