VOLGOGRAD, December 20. /TASS/. After a gas explosion in a house in Volgograd, eight people were taken to hospital, including two children, representative of the regional branch of the Investigative Committee Natalia Kunitskaya told TASS on Sunday.
"6 adults and 2 children have been taken to the ambulance hospital in Volgograd, the children are of 5 and 7 years," she said adding their conditions are medium.
The exposition of gas happened in a 9-storey house. Preliminary reports mention two explosions. The fire brigade is extinguishing fire the four top storeys. Three flats on one side of the 9th, 8th and 7th floors were damaged.
Investigation is under way.
