MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Migration Service (FMS) has banned entry to the country for 1.6 million foreign citizens, the head of the federal authority said on Tuesday.
"According to the FMS information system, currently the entry has been banned for 1.6 million foreign citizens," Konstantin Romodanovsky said, adding that the measure has "improved the situation in the country."
This year, some 16.3 million foreign citizens already visited Russia and another 10.3 million people are in the country now, he said.
