The home of Russian ballet and opera since the 1860s, Mariinsky Theater is one of the greatest ballet companies in the world. During its long history, the real masterpieces of dramatic art and huge number of worldwide famous artists performed on the theater's stage. TASS photographer Ruslan Shamukov visited Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petesrburg to see how the ballet performances are created.
