At least one person was killed and another three injured

IRKUTSK, November 6. /TASS/. At least one killed and three injured after a blast at a lumber factory in Russia’s southeastern Siberian city of Bratsk, a source in the local emergencies services told TASS on Friday.

"The explosion took place at the chloride works. One of the capacities [containing chloride] probably blew up," the source said. "Three people were injured and one was killed."

A representative of the Ilim Group of Companies confirmed to TASS it was a "grave accident." The company as yet reports one killed.

"The commission is working now," the company said. "The facilities take a big area, and it is very complicated now to see the realistic scale and consequences from the accident."
