MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. La Scala ballet's artistic director Makhar Vaziev will start working at the Bolshoi theatre next year, the head of the Moscow-based theatre told TASS on Monday.
"The contract with him has been signed. He will start working on March 18, 2016 after the contract with Sergey Filin [current Bolshoi ballet artistic director] expires," Vladimir Urin said.
Vaziev, 54, headed the Mariinsky ballet in St. Petersburg for 13 years and worked at La Scala for seven years after that, Urin added.
