MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Body of a man who is believed to be Amiran Georgadze, a businessman from Krasnogorsk near Moscow missing since Monday after the murder of two municipal officials, was found on Friday at a private dacha near the village of Timoshkino by the dacha’s owner, an official spokesman for Russia’s Investigations Committee told TASS.
"The body was found in an old countryside house located in the woodland near the village of Timoshkino, Krasnogorsk district," said Vladimir Markin, the spokesman.
Georgadze was seen in Timoshkino the last time.
"The man smashed a window in the house (to get inside) and when the owner arrived and entered it, he saw the man’s body lie on a sofa," Markin said. "The man had shot himself dead in the chin, supposedly from a Makarov handgun."
He said measures were being taken to establish the man’s identity.
Amiran Georgadze, who has been dubbed the Krasnogorsk shooter, shot dead First Deputy Mayor of the Krasnogorsk district, Yuri Karaulov, right in the latter man’s office on Monday, October 19.
After that he killed Georgy Kotlyarenko, the head of the Krasnogorsk power distribution grids.
While getting away from the investigators, Georgadze also killed an occasional eyewitness. The body of his business partner was found in his house later on.
