Counterterrorism operation regime imposed in two villages of Dagestan

Work is underway to identify and neutralize the gunmen

MAKHACHKALA, October 23. /TASS/. The regime of a counterterrorism operation has been put in place in two villages of Russia’s North Caucasus Republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republican department of the Russian Anti-Terrorism Committee told TASS.

"At 4.30 a.m., the counter-terror regime was imposed in the villages of Untsukul and Shamilkala. Work is underway to identify and neutralize the gunmen," the spokesman said.
