MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Moscow’s Basmanny court has found legal the actions of an investigator who rejected the petition of Zhanna Nemtsova, the daughter of the Russian murdered politician, to question Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov as a witness in the case.

"After listening to the arguments of the sides, the court came to conclusion that the petition of lawyer Prokhorov in the interests of Zhanna Nemtsova should not be satisfied," Judge Elena Lenskaya said.’

The investigator takes all the decisions on interrogating witnesses himself and the "court has no right to interfere in the procedural actions of the investigator." The court has not confirmed the fact of the investigator’s inaction.

In comments to Nemtsova’s complaint, Kadyrov said earlier this month: "She should search for someone in her entourage, the one who organized this murder rather than accuse me. If she wants to meet with me, let it be so, I invite her to my place, we will have tea, I will offer condolences to her that her father was killed."

Co-chairman of the Parnas opposition party Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in downtown Moscow on February 27. Zaur Dadaev whom investigators consider the killer, Khamzat Bakhaev, Anzor Gubashev, Shadid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov have been arrested over Nemtsov’s murder.
