Prodigy star fails to fly to London after losing passport in Russia

The English musician could not pass the external border control before boarding the flight scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday

ST.PETERSBURG, October 13. /TASS/. The Prodigy's lead vocalist Keith Flint has been unable to fly to London as he lost his passport while in Russia’s St. Petersburg for a concert, a city police source has told TASS.

The English musician could not pass the external border control before boarding the flight scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday. "Flint was returned from the border control line as he had no passport," the source said.

"The lack of passport was not noticed during the ticket checking as the band went to the control for the flight to London through a hall for special guests where no such checking takes place," the source added.

Local police have not received any statements from Flint on his lost passport. The representatives of the British consulate general will help the musician to solve the problem.

The Prodigy band presented its new album, The day is my enemy, at the concert in St. Petersburg’s Ice Palace. The musicians shared their impressions about their trip to Russia on their Twitter: "Russia, thanks for havin us , we luv y'all ! Big respect.".
