School bus overturns in Russia’s Far East, injuries reported

Rescuers, doctors and traffic police are currently working at the accident scene

KHABAROVSK, October 8. /TASS/. A school bus carrying 25 children has overturned near Khabarovsk, in Russia’s Far East, causing some injuries, the regional emergencies ministry said on Thursday.

"The schoolchildren were heading to an excursion. Some children are injured. They are being provided with assistance on the spot," the ministry said in a statement.

Rescuers, doctors and traffic police are currently working at the accident scene.

"No one has died, the cause of the accident is being investigated," it said.
