NOVOSIBIRSK, September 28. /TASS/. All the wildfires on the territory of Russia’s Siberian federal district have been put out by now, the press service of the local forestry department said on Monday.
"According to the regional forestry dispatcher services, as of September 28 there are no wildfires raging on the territory of the Siberian federal district," the department said in a statement.
No cases have been reported when the wildfires spread to local villages and economic facilities.
A state of emergency has been introduced in three federal subjects of the district — across the Transbaikal Territory and the Republic of Khakassia, and in one district of Buryatia. A special firefighting regime has been declared in 18 districts of Buryatia.
