MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. The press service of former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev has refuted media reports about his emergency hospitalization.
"I’ve just come out of his office, Mikhail Sergeyevich [Gorbachev] is at work in the foundation. He will have a planned meeting in a while," the press service’s spokesman Vladimir Polyakov told TASS commenting on reports on Gorbachyov’s hospitalization.
The LifeNews TV channel earlier reported that Gorbachyov had been urgently hospitalized "due to sharp health deterioration."
