Russian watchdog sees no need to restrict Telegram operations in Russia

No plans are in place currently to block the Telegram in Russia, Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told the Shot Telegram channel earlier

MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media does not see the need for restricting operations of the Telegram messenger in Russia, the regulator’s press service told TASS.

"We confirm that there is no need at presence to limit Telegram’s operations in Russia," the watchdog said.

No plans are in place currently to block the Telegram in Russia, Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told the Shot Telegram channel earlier.
