Users in several countries report YouTube outage

NEW YORK, March 5. /TASS/. Disruptions in the work of online video hosting YouTube are observed in a number of countries, according to the Downdetector service, which tracks the work of popular Internet resources.

According to the service, 42% of users complain about the website's work, 36% note failures in the mobile application, and 22% have encountered problems with video playback. Most complaints come from the United States.

The malfunctions are still observed in Google services, WhatsApp messenger, social network X, video platform TikTok, social network Snapchat and others.

Earlier, more than 359,000 people reported operational problems on Facebook and 56,000 on Instagram (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, which is deemed extremist in Russia).
