Carthage Theater Days with Russian participation ended in Tunisia

The festival administration decided this year to turn to the legacy of playwright Anton Chekhov

RABAT, December 11. /TASS/. The 24th Carthage Theater Days international festival was held in Tunisia from December 2 to 10 with the participation of Russian theater groups.

"The Carthage Theater Days festival is the event with deep traditions, rightfully ranked among the largest and the most known theatrical forums of Africa. The Russian House in Tunisia became one of its main partners this year," head of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Tunisia (Russian House) Yury Zaitsev told TASS.

"The administration of the festival decided this year to turn to the heritage of our great playwright Anton Chekhov. The Russian House in Tunisia was happy to respond to the proposal of the Tunisian side, having arranged in close partnerships with organizers the participation of theater groups from Russia with staging of works of the global canonical writer", he added.
