Margarita Golubeva, a resident of St. Petersburg, represented Russia. On Thursday, the Russian contestant, 22, wore a Swan Princess Russian-style dress designed by Olga Malyarova of St. Petersburg in the annual costume contest. The dress, based on Russian fairy tales, was decorated with beautiful lace and semi-precious stones. However, she did not make it into the top 10 of the competition.

Miss Universe, an annual international beauty pageant, is one of the Big Four international beauty competitions. Anna Linnikova of Orenburg, who won Miss Russia-2022, took part in the 71st Miss Universe Pageant in New Orleans, US, but never made it into the top 16 finalists.
