Putin grants Russian citizenship to US poet Henry Lowenfeld

Along with Lowenfeld, the decree grants Russian citizenship to 69 more people

MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. Julian Henry Lowenfeld, an American poet, playwright and trial lawyer, has been granted Russian citizenship, as follows from a corresponding decree that was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and made public on Thursday.

Lowenfeld, 56, is known for his translations of Alexander Pushkin’s poetry into English.

Along with Lowenfeld, the decree grants Russian citizenship to 69 more people.
