Constructive cooperation established between Russia and ILO — Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow and the International Labor Organization have a program of cooperation until 2020

ST. PETERSBURG, April 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised honest and constructive cooperation between Russia and the International Labor Organization (ILO) established in the last several years. Putin met with ILO's Director General Guy Ryder after the session of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Geographical Society.

"We have established close constructive cooperation between Russia and ILO. We work together on ensuring employment, decent wages, labor protection. We do many things in coordination with you, with your consultative assistance," Putin said.

The Russian president also congratulated the ILO with the 100th anniversary of its founding and thanked Ryder for participating in the Russian Week of Labor Protection in Sochi.

Putin reminded that Russia and the ILO have a program of cooperation until 2020. "As we understand, this agreement is being successfully implemented," the Russian president said.
