'Bohemian Rhapsody' wins best drama film, best actor at Golden Globes

"Green Book" won three awards and Alfonso Cuaron’s "Roma" was awarded best foreign language film

NEW YORK, January 7. /TASS/. "Bohemian Rhapsody" won two top prizes at the 2019 Golden Globes - best drama film and best actor for Rami Malek, who plays Queen’s frontman Freddie Mercury. The ceremony aired on NBC on Sunday.

"Green Book" won three awards - Best Musical of Comedy Film, supporting actor for Mehershala Ali, and screenplay.

Alfonso Cuaron’s "Roma" was awarded best foreign language film, and Cuaron bested other nominees and took home the prize for best director.

The 76th annual Golden Globes was broadcast live on January 6, 2019, from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The ceremony aired live on NBC in the United States. Actors Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh hosted the ceremony.
