MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev delivered his New Year congratulations to Russians in a video address released via the Russian government’s official Twitter on Monday, wishing everyone the fulfillment of their fondest wishes.

"Dear friends, congratulations on the upcoming year 2019!" he said. "This holiday is a special one. Perhaps, every person is looking forward to this holiday and feels the joy of its arrival, so that, when the clocks strike midnight, we could wish the most simple and most important things to our loved ones: happiness to our friends and relatives, health to our parents, success to our children and prosperity to our dear country."

"May your dearest wishes come true in 2019," the Russian premier added.
