Putin urges to consider people’s needs when addressing development tasks

Putin noted that the Presidential Council's for Civil Society and Human Rights work is currently even more demanded than at the time of its creation

MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged not to forget about the needs of ordinary people when solving tasks of the economic development.

"All our national projects are built around people’s needs, so I would like to say the following. All these transformations, new technology and new large-scale projects must go hand-in-hand with the development of society and the enhancement of the state’s maturity," he told the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. "Also, it is impossible that a specific person with his or her daily needs and concerns gets lost as a result of the solution of the breakthrough goals."

Putin noted that the Council’s work is now even more demanded than at the time of its creation. "It is because today we are facing new big tasks. They are thoroughly outlined in the May decree on the country’s national goals and strategic development tasks in the next six years," he stressed. The President emphasized that the key goal of these reforms is to improve the level and quality of people’s life, ensure the economic growth, the development of science and advanced technology, and the achievement of concrete results, which should be used for the benefit of the citizens.
