Putin sends message of greetings to Russian World Assembly delegates

"I am certain that the Assembly will be held in a creative manner and will promote the development of international humanitarian cooperation and personal contacts," Russian President stressed

MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message of greetings to participants and guests of the 12th Russian World Assembly.

"I am certain that the Assembly will be held in a creative manner and will promote the development of international humanitarian cooperation and personal contacts," Putin stressed in his message posted on the Kremlin website on Saturday.

The Russian president also noted the role played by the Russkiy Mir (Russian World) foundation in implementing significant education and charity projects and supporting compatriots abroad.

The Russian World Assembly is an annual international forum held by the Russkiy Mir foundation in various Russian cities ahead of Russia’s National Unity Day marked on November 4. In 2017, the forum was held in Nizhny Novgorod, while this year’s event is being held in Tver (central Russia).
