MOSCOW, July 18. /TASS/. A Russian Center set up by the Ministry of Defense to receive, relocate and accommodate refugees has prepared over 336,000 places in various cities throughout Syria, the Center announced on Wednesday.

"A total of 336,500 places have been prepared to receive and accommodate refugees in cities of the Syrian Arab Republic," the Center said in its bulletin.

The Center has prepared 82,550 places in the province of Rif Damashq (8,950 in East Qalamoun), 134,350 places in the province of Aleppo, 64,000 places in the province of Homs, 10,600 places in the province of Hama and 45,000 places in the province of Deir ez-Zor, the bulletin says.

National reconciliation committees have been set up in the administrative centers of the Syrian provinces to receive, relocate and accommodate refugees. The committees will assess the condition of infrastructural facilities, determine the needs and coordinate the process of solving the organizational and social issues of temporarily displaced persons, the Center said.

"In each province, an on-duty group of buses has been set up in private transport companies to transport refugees. Bus columns are formed on applications from the national reconciliation committees," the bulletin says.

The document also says that in the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides has held two humanitarian actions in the community of Abu-Driha in the Aleppo province and the community of Tafas in the province of Daraa, delivering 1,156 food sets with a total weight of 4.7 tonnes to civilians.
