Toronto van incident could be terrorist attack, all versions are considered - police

10 people were killed and 15 others were injured in an attack

OTTAWA, April 24. /TASS/. A van attack in Toronto that killed 10 people and injured another 15 could be a terrorist attack, but the investigation is considering all versions, Toronto Police Chief Mark Sanders said during a press conference.

According to Sanders, investigators are now working with the driver suspected of running his van into a crowd of people, a 25-year-old Alek Minassian. Currently police offers no details on the driver's possible motive.

According to him, 10 people were killed and 15 others were injured in an attack. So far, not all the victims have been identified.

A van struck pedestrians on Monday 13:26 local time in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area of North York in Toronto.
