MOSCOW, July 31 (Itar-Tass) - Russian lawyer Anatoly Kucherena said on Wednesday that he would soon start doing paperwork necessary for the arrival of Edward Snowden’s father to Russia.

“I telephoned him (Edward Snowden) today. We agreed that I would prepare an invitation for his father to visit Russia. I hope that the visa formalities will not be long,” Kucherena said.

He added that a U.S. lawyer would accompany Edward Snowden’s father on his trip to Russia. “When he comes, we will think together how to secure Edward’s personal security,” Kucherena went on to say.
