MOSCOW, July 23 (Itar-Tass) - Head of a Public Chamber commission, lawyer Anatoly Kucherena said he continues to meet with former CIA agent Edward Snowden at the Sheremetyevo airport.

"As far as I know, Snowden is in Sheremetyevo's transit zone. I have meetings with him there. He'll stay there until all the mandatory procedures are over," the lawyer told Russian News Service on Tuesday.

The former CIA employee has been in Sheremetyevo since June 23 and cannot cross the transit zone because his passport is invalid. In July he asked Russia to grant him temporary asylum.
