MOSCOW, June 24 (Itar-Tass) - The Ecuadorian Embassy in Russia has declined to make any comments on the situation related to former U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden.
“We make no comments and plan no official events on this issue,” an Ecuadorian embassy source said.
Meanwhile, Snowden’s whereabouts remain unclear.
Earlier a source told Itar-Tass that he may stay at the VIP lounge of Sheremetyevo International Airport in the area behind passport control.
According to some information, Snowden planned to fly to Havana with Aeroflot later on Monday.
